New Fan Club

I have a new Fan Club. Jo and her happy band are hereby appointed Official Suppliers of Doggie Water to this blog. TD and Linda like the coffee there too.

Up at the Railway Reserve

I've just been up to the Railway Reserve for a walk.

It is fun up there, with lots of birds.

If only I could get away, I would have a great time chasing birds up here.

And I could have gone for a swim, but TD wouldn't let me off the lead.

This was fun - can we do it again tomorrow???

I still reckon this is a Doggie Door.

Even if it won't open.

I'm sure I could get through if it would open.

Even with this bucket on my head.

Meet the President

This is Ailsa. She is the president of my new Fan Club at the hostel.

She thinks I am just lovely. The others do, too. I get lots of pats.

Meet Crockett

This is Crockett. He goes down to the hostel where I have established a fan club. Crockett is very friendly, and is a perfect gentleman, but here he is whispering sweet nothings in my ear. Which being a demure young lady, I am pretending to ignore.

Does she mean me????

All TD and I were doing was going for a walk this morning. Just a nice, smelly little long walk.

And TD saw a Lady with a Great Dane. All he said was that it was my breakfast.

And SHE called me Bucket Head!

The Indignity of it!

The Things They do to a Girl!

It isn't fair. The things they do to a girl. Wanting me to wear hand-me-downs from Penny.

Linda made it for her, and thought I might like it. Trouble is Penny was much rounder, and her backside wasn't as far away as mine! Linda reckons she can put tucks in the straps, but I flatly refuse to wear this - let alone with a ruffle on the back end!!!

If I have to wear one of these, I want my own!

Busy Day

I heard Top Dog saying someone hit my "on button". Just because I was running and jumping a lot. This is a really nice garden - I can do lots and lots of different blockies around the veggie garden.

This is what I looked like doing it.

I move very fast! Linda gets frustrated trying to photograph me.

But this is what I look like when I stop. I do that more than I go crazy.

I really am a very nice poochie. I just get a bit energetic sometimes!

Out of Focus, but....

TD and Linda know this photo is out of focus, but they let me put it in here anyway.

And they thought I was watching tennis! I really had my eyes closed.

I really am a big softie - even if I did bark for the first time to scare away a great big dog on the other side of the fence. It was in MY green belt.

But I was a bit nervous

I didn't really mean to escape from Top Dog and Linda in the car park. I didn't. Just I was nervous.

Those really nice people at Blue Cross told them that when my last owners bought me in a pet shop, they were told I was a poodle. I thought when they told TD and Linda I wasn't a poodle they mightn't want me too.

But they chased me all over the car park. It was a bit of fun, really, but I don't think they thought so.

And it was a really long trip in the car to get here. I don't like cars. So I tried to just sleep all the way through it. It wasn't so much the car, in the end, as the music. I don't know which was worst, the Janis Joplin or the soundtrack of Brassed Off. If they keep this up, I might start singing too, and that will fix them.

Hello

Milly

Hello Everyone,

My name is Milly. Although Top Dog just referred to me as Millicent Mary Murgatroid (or something pretty similar).

I'm not living with TD and Linda yet, but I will be soon. At the the moment I am at Blue Cross
in Melbourne, but very soon I am going to go and live with them. And go for lots of walks. And play in the green belt. And go to Puppy School. I think Puppy School comes before the green belt. I missed out on Puppy School, so I am six months old, and haven't really had a lot of training.

Blue Cross were calling me Jayda, and I guess that is a nice name. But Linda reckons I remind her of Molly, who used to live around the corner, so she thought I should be Milly. Not quite the same as Molly, but really like her.

Nobody really knows where I have come from, only that I haven't had a lot of training, and am really nervous around some people.

Guess my life is going to change a bit, really soon.
